About

Strong. Rooted. Centered. Seen.

You’re not asking for too much. You’re not too sensitive. You’re not broken.

You’re simply navigating a world that wasn’t designed with your nervous system in mind — and I’m here to move with you through all of it.

-Ericka Mojica

Hello Friends,
My name is Ericka Mojica (she/her) and I am a therapist-in-training, currently completing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a focused intention to serve individuals on the spectrum — from young children to older adults — especially those also carrying the weight of trauma, chronic stress, or emotional overwhelm.

My work is grounded in a deep understanding of the mind-body connection, and guided by the principles of Somatic Internal Family Systems (SIFS) and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT).

My clients are often navigating:

  • PTSD and complex trauma (cPTSD)

  • The aftermath of sexual assault or domestic violence

  • Emotional dysregulation and sensory sensitivities

  • Feeling unseen or unsupported in neurotypical spaces

Together, we create a space that’s inclusive, calm, vibrant, and brave. A space where all parts of you — especially the ones you've been told to quiet or hide — are welcome.

Where I've Been

Before stepping into the clinical space, I spent over a decade supporting people in their healing through movement. I hold certifications as a:

  • Certified Personal Trainer

  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach

  • Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist

  • Certified Yoga Instructor

  • Practitioner in Fascial Manipulation, Fascial Stretching & Fascia Release Therapy

I’ve worked with student and recreational athletes, individuals in chronic pain, and survivors of trauma — all looking to reconnect with their bodies, reclaim power, and build trust in their inner landscape.

On a more personal note, I’ve spent decades practicing kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, MMA, and heavy lifting — movement practices that not only built physical strength but helped me move through years of childhood trauma. They continue to be a powerful anchor in my own healing. I’m living proof of the deep transformation that mind–body work can offer.

This embodied path informs everything I do as a therapist. The body holds stories our words can’t always access — and when we learn to listen, we learn to heal.

  • If you’re looking for a therapist who honors your complexity, respects your boundaries, and helps you feel truly reflected — you’re in the right place.

And if you’re a fellow clinician or collaborator looking to connect over meaningful work, I welcome that, too.
